Using a visual planner so children know what is happening each day can assist them to feel less anxious and prepare for the separation from their parent/carer.

Talking with your child and involving them in making the planner gives them ownership over it. They are more likely to use the resource as a support tool.

I have included different versions of the template that can easily be edited and photos and pictures inserted.
